This cottage is a hidden gem! It was the perfect location for our quiet weekend getaway and was conveniently located ~20 minutes from downtown Franklin and about ~45 minutes from surrounding towns like Highlands. The cottage was in perfect condition and Damien was extremely communicative and even provided a booklet with everything you could do in the area. We will definitely be back again!

This place was stunning! We stayed for our kids Fall Break and we absolutely loved the fall colors, mountain trails, waterfalls, and the creek right next to the house! The hot tub was an added bonus. Damien was super responsive and accommodating and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in this house!

This is a serene peaceful dream. From the moment you book this home, Damien was so kind and thoughtful and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The feeling when you walk in the home is tranquility. We were welcomed with a thoughtful handwritten welcome letter. Any questions or thoughts about what to do were outlined in the home manual. Great house in a great spot. We enjoy hiking different places in the Nantahala Forest and this was in a great location for that. Enjoyed Franklin too! The creeks around the house were awesome! Feel asleep to the sound of the creek and enjoyed exploring it and fishing in it. Very relaxing and peaceful! The house had everything we needed and much more. Damien was a great host! We hope to come back!

If you are looking for the highest quality, look no further! Curated with so much care in every way. Damian thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, quality linens that feel luxury. A very thoughtful expression of hospitality with wine and chocolate. With so many vacation rentals to choose from -THIS IS THE ONE. Be prepared to extend your stay. Perfectly situated near the creek, just a short drive up to Wayah Bald lookout tower, a beautiful scenic drive up to Natahala lake, trails in abundance, short 10 minute drive into the town of Franklin.

Great stay here in the Nantahala Forest. Very comfortable and updated cabin. The owner obviously put a lot of time and effort to make the cabin as user friendly as possible. Some examples include providing blankets in the living room and towels for the hot tub. Damian was super communicative and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Lots of great activities close by for those who enjoy the outdoors.
